WHAT MAKES OUR PROGRAM UNIQUE:

Creating a bond that is deeply rewarding for both horse and rider, requires passion, commitment and a heartfelt curiosity to learn new ways of being in relationship with horses that does not require dominance or breaking a horses's spirit. We know this. We teach this.

This course is not about performance or ‘getting a technique right’. It is about engaging with horses in more respectful and rewarding ways. Ariana masterfully helps her clients let go of pre-conceived notions and quick 'conclusions' about what horses think and feel, giving horse and rider a fresh start.

This course offers guided practices for that develop an authentic relationship with horses. It doesn’t matter how much experience you have or what type of horsemanship you do, there is always something new to learn in the finesse and art of communicating with horses.

Working with cues from the inside out--asking with energetic and intentional cues first and foremost—creates a lightness and engagement you cant get with traditional tools and gimmicks.

 Focusing on your energetic tone and your mind/body and spirit alignment allows you to build trust and respect from the horse. It’s about studying the nuances of your inner intentions with a skilled mentor like Ariana, who can help you see the gap between your desired outcomes and the unspoken cues you may be sending to the horse.

We’ll go over tack review and discussions. Often times, your tack is causing stiffness and  resistance. Different horses have different body dynamics, way of moving, and training history.

Lighten up! Being too stiff or controlling with the plan or agenda for your training session can cause undue conflict and strain. The more control you think you need, the more stiff and resistant your horse becomes. Learn how our 'horse time' method gets better results.

Each horse is an individual with its own unique needs, historic experiences, personality traits and way of expression. With Ariana’s mentorship, you will gain insight into the subtle components that makes your horse unique and what kind of timing and cues work best for your horse.

Tack. Many times it is the tack that causes interference between horse and rider. As a disciplined equestrian in both english and western, Ariana has studied bits, bridles and saddles and can help you find the right tack for your horse.
