This course is for any one who has the courage to create change within themselves and thus outwardly in their lives and broader world. The horses will let the light in. You just have to show up for it. Ariana will be by your side, encouraging and supporting you to stay present and open. My time with the horses was awe inspiring, magical, comical, and life affirming. I whispered to them my secrets, my fears, my hopes, and wordlessly they stepped in closer, giving subtle and sometimes not so subtle cues and clues. My aha moment came with a horse named Luna. I will never forget her as my number one teacher and guide. I have nothing but gratitude for the time I had during the 5 days of Leadership and Horses. Just go. If you don't go, you won’t know. The Horses and Leadership 5 day workshop gave me exactly what I needed even though I was resistant to attend in the first place! Ariana's organic, flowing delivery of the principals that make up her approach to learning and growing with horses drew me in immediately. The blend of group process, talks, and time with the herd allowed an embodied learning that has stayed with me and blossomed over time. I just wanted to say thanks from the bottom of my heart for this amazing experience. I can't remember what I thought I would get from this program going in, but what I took away was more than I could have imagined. Ariana, the Horses, and the entire Staff, were so supportive and kind. The creation of a "safe space" and a "container for self-discovery and growth" was held for each and every one of the participants. The practices of listening rather than speaking, and feeling in my body rather than thinking in my mind, we're so helpful. Also recognizing patterns in myself, and whether they served me or did not serve me. This helped me to flip the script and step into a new awareness of self-worth and direction on my path. Slowing down and observing and feeling and co-creating with the horses helped me get out of my head and into my body. The collective energy that I felt led me to allow the wisdom to seep into my body. I felt that my cells were remembering what it was like before the armoring of my heart. Before the fear, anger, conceit, contraction, and judgment. I wrote in my journal: Step into the light. my heart is shining bright behind the curtain. just pull back the drapes. I am already enough. I am strong. I am kind and compassionate. I am not a quitter. I deserve respect. I deserve to be loved and cherished for who I am, not what I do.
